The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maximizing equipment productivity and uptime, ensuring safe working conditions of all personnel and equipment, developing and managing a preventative maintenance plan, and supervising all maintenance employees.  This person will also lead the development and training of maintenance staff.  


? Assess, develop, implement and evaluate the on-going schedule of all preventative maintenance programs.

? Develop and provide reports which document productivity, maintenance cost, work schedule status and existing and future workload requirements.

? Ensure safe operating condition of equipment.

? Manage head count and schedule for proper coverage while minimizing cost.

? Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s)

? Develop critical spare parts list. Oversee ordering and inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

? Performs safety inspections on all equipment to ensure maintenance personnel follow all safety rules and processes and acts as safety role model for maintenance team and company.

Responsible for new equipment installation and all equipment upgrades.


The ideal candidate selected for this position would have 5 to 7 years experience in a bulk aseptic tomato processing operation.  Experience should include responsibility for product quality and equipment functionality.  This individual must be able to handle all aspects of mechanical repair and have the ability to train, direct and supervise a workforce.
